Position Overview:
This is a full-time role located at 122 East McFadden Ave, Santa Ana, CA. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering a great work-life balance with no evening shifts!
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove drugs from stock and accurately count, pour, or mix pharmaceuticals.
- Transfer products into containers and attach the appropriate labels.
- Package or repackage medications as necessary.
- Enter prescription information into the computer system and generate prescription labels.
- Verify or re-verify insurance benefits.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to patients and team members, fostering positive relationships.
- Make and receive calls to patients, case managers, providers, insurance companies, etc.
- Handle payment transactions at the point of service (POS) and reconcile daily transactions.
- Coordinate prescription deliveries.
- Identify and resolve any issues proactively.
- Perform other duties as assigned while adhering to company policies and standards.
- Demonstrate commitment to the company’s core values and goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician License in good standing with the State of California.
- National Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or NHA) is a plus.
- At least one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Strong typing and data-entry skills.
- Reliable transportation to commute to our Santa Ana, CA pharmacy regularly.
- Positive attitude, energetic, flexible, excellent phone etiquette, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
