Responsibilities
- Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing plates, and resetting tables for new guests.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping, assembling ingredients, or organizing supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness in all dining and kitchen areas through regular sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Aid in catering and banquet setups by arranging tables, linens, and serving ware to ensure timely event execution.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance across all duties.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service hours.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
- Familiarity with food service environments such as hotels or catering events is a plus.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work helps in understanding safety protocols and efficiency.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and focus.
