Responsibilities
- Take dogs on engaging walks tailored to their energy levels and needs, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
- Provide attentive pet sitting services in clients’ homes or designated facilities, including feeding, administering medication, and maintaining routines
- Monitor pets’ behavior and health during visits, alerting owners or veterinary professionals of any concerns or unusual symptoms
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills to prevent injury or stress
- Maintain detailed logs of pet activities, behaviors, and any incidents during visits for owner updates
- Assist with pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when required to promote hygiene and comfort
- Uphold excellent customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about their pets’ needs and well-being
