Join our Community Habilitation program and support families while providing DSP services to individuals in their homes and in the community!
**PART-TIME**Monday - Friday **FLEXIBLE** Up to 20 hours per week**
Hours: Schedules will be part-time and flexible. Generally between 9am and 5pm Mon-Fri. This is not an evening or weekend opportunity.
Our Direct Support Professionals assist and empower adults with intellectual and physical disabilities in their home setting so that they can be as independent as possible! By doing so, the Community Habilitation DSP's provide much-needed support in the community.
Our DSP's provide assistance and support to people in areas such as advocacy, quality of life & community inclusion goals in their homes throughout Queens.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Comm Hab DSP must be able to reliably commute to various locations via personal or public transportation.
- Must have prior experience working independently and as a DSP.
- Must be able to work independently.
- HS Diploma / GED
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates or Bachelors degree in human services related field preferred for Day Hab positions.
