Job Summary
As a Maintenance Assistant at Roland Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director to maintain the orderly functioning of all equipment in the facility, including the kitchen, laundry, heating, air conditioning, and elevators.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is in good working condition, including minor repairs and replacements
- Facility Maintenance: Identify and address any facilities-related issues that may impact resident care or safety
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment and supplies, and ensure timely ordering and restocking
- Collaboration: Work with the Director and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
