Current Multi-Age Teaching Positions
- K–2nd Teacher
- 3rd–5th Teacher
- 6th–8th Teacher
- Special Education Teacher
Multi-age classroom groupings are typically K–2nd, 3rd–5th, and 6th–8th, but may vary based on enrollment and student needs.

- Only one mandatory 15-minute weekly staff meeting
- No half-day school days

Schedule
- Teacher Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:15 PM
- Student School Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–2:45 PM
2026–2027 School Year
August 24, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Scheduled School Closures
- October Break – 5 weekdays
- Thanksgiving Break – 2 weekdays
- Christmas & New Year's Break – 10 weekdays
- February Break – 5 weekdays
- Spring Break – 5 weekdays
- May Break – 5 weekdays
No half-day school days. All other weekdays are regular instructional school days.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- North Carolina teaching license preferred
- Teaching experience preferred
- Experience with elementary, middle grades, or special education is a plus
- Comfortable teaching in a multi-age learning environment
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for individualized, nature-based education
