Overview
3D Lash & Brow Academy is seeking a strong, confident, and compassionate Clinic Floor Instructor to actively coach students while protecting the client experience in our Dallas and Forney campus.
This is not a sit-behind-the-desk position. The ideal candidate loves teaching, mentoring, correcting technique in real time, and ensuring every client receives a professional service while every student grows in confidence and competency. Our instructors lead from the clinic floor, proactively coaching rather than reacting after problems occur. Responsibilities & Duties
Student Coaching & Instruction
- Provide continuous, hands-on coaching and demonstrations throughout every clinic service.
- Evaluate student competency before allowing services to begin, correcting improper procedures immediately.
- Prepare students for successful Texas state board examinations and future industry employment.
- Build student confidence while strictly maintaining academy standards.
Clinic Floor Management & Safety
- Maintain an active, highly visible presence on the clinic floor throughout the shift.
- Monitor all services in progress and intervene immediately when quality concerns arise.
- Enforce all sanitation, safety, and infection control standards across all stations.
- Assist students during difficult services to maintain appointment flow and high efficiency.
Client Experience & Leadership
- Ensure every client receives exceptional customer service, resolving concerns professionally before they become complaints.
- Support rebooking, retail recommendations, and positive client outcomes.
- Coach students through service recovery situations and client communication.
- Work collaboratively with admissions, clinic reception, and leadership teams.
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress, attendance, and performance issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- Visual Acuity: Must have 20/20 vision to evaluate intricate lash, brow, and esthetic details in real time.
- Beauty Disciplines: Strong practical experience across multiple areas including Esthetics, Eyelash Extensions, Facials, Hair Services, and Nail Services.
- Licensing: Texas Beauty Educator / Instructor License preferred (or ability to meet state instructor requirements).
- Supervision: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coach students in a fast-paced environment in real time.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills with a track record of resolving client concerns and maintaining high satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: In-depth knowledge of sanitation, sterilization, and state board infection control protocols.
- Traits: Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive rather than reactive.
