Overview
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and seat them in a timely manner
- Manage waitlists efficiently
- Provide menus and relay any specials or promotions to guests
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of food service procedures is preferred
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude
- Excellent phone etiquette skills
