Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques for repairs and installations.
- Work with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and perform calibration procedures as needed.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension components.
- Ability to read schematics and diagnostic codes for precise troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous.
- Valid certification in automotive repair or mechanic experience demonstrating technical competence.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high safety standards.
