The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh has an opening for a part-time Diller Teen Fellow Second Staff position at our Squirrel Hill location. The candidate must be 21 years of age by June 30, 2026. Benefits include a free health membership. This position:
- Attends most staff meetings, Mifgashim and Shabbatonim
- Attends the entire summer trip from June 29-July 16, 2026
- Provides support to the Pittsburgh Coordinator, JC's and Fellows throughout the year
- Develops, writes and leads programs throughout the year
- Empowers teens and serves as a role model to the Cohort
- Gains hands-on leadership experience
- Meets other staff from around the world
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
While performing the above duties, this position routinely requires handling persons and/or objects and moving safely throughout the building. This position may include walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. This position requires communicating, either verbally or in writing. This position frequently requires moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. This position occasionally requires moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to complete all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Must be able to obtain or possess PA Criminal History Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance, PA Mandated Reporter Training, First Aid/CPR Certification.
