Plumbing Estimator - Commercial Construction
Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring an experienced Plumbing Estimator for large ground-up commercial construction projects in Orlando, FL.
This role offers up to $105K, bonus opportunity, cell phone, medical, dental, 401(k) match, PTO, and long-term project stability.
What You Will Do
- Prepare plumbing estimates for large commercial construction projects.
- Perform plan takeoffs, quantity takeoffs, and scope reviews.
- Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and addenda.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor, supplier, and subcontractor pricing.
- Estimate domestic water, sanitary, storm drainage, hydronic piping, process piping, and related plumbing systems.
- Support bid preparation, budgeting, value engineering, and preconstruction efforts.
- Work closely with project managers, operations, vendors, and field teams.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of plumbing, mechanical, MEP, or piping estimating experience.
- Experience estimating large commercial or ground-up construction projects.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, mechanical systems, piping, materials, labor, and installation methods.
- Experience with estimating tools such as Bluebeam, FastPIPE, Trimble, AutoBid Mechanical, QuickPen, Procore, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and bid accuracy.
