Essential Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, and maintain HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Designs, fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required.
- Receives, verifies, and loads all equipment and materials needed for each job.
- Demonstrates and establishes effective working relationships with co-workers, superiors.
- Properly completes all paperwork required for each job.
- Maintains cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
- Maintains high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Performs all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
- Represents Glasco in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand, bend, stoop, reach and travel to locations.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- CT HVAC License (S, D, or B license)
- Prior heating and/or cooling experience in a residential capacity.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate with customers.
- Demonstrated excellent communication conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and pitch in as needed.
- Computer skills and use of electronic devices for scheduling, invoice creation and communication to staff and customers required.
- Must be able to work on a ladder.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years field experience and formal training, as well as EPA certification.
- Valid, clean driver’s license.
- Professional set of tools.
- Physical ability to perform all requirements associated with this position.
