This is a VOLUNTEER Event Coordinator role with PAID on-site event hours.
Time Commitment:
- Pre-event (Remote): Volunteer; approximately 2–4 hours per week
- Event Week & Event Day (Onsite): Paid
- Compensation: Free dance classes (for yourself or child), Parents Night Out, and school break camps

Role Overview
Dynasty Dance Co. is seeking an experienced Volunteer Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of a key upcoming event fundraiser. This role focuses on coordinating logistics and volunteers in advance of the event and serving as a lead point person during event week and day-of operations.
This position is ideal for someone who can step into an active coordination role with minimal training and confidently manage event details.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Event (Remote – Volunteer)
- Support event planning logistics, timelines, and coordination documents
- Assist with outreach and communication to local businesses, sponsors, and vendors
- Support vendor coordination, including confirmations and logistics follow-ups
- Help organize and manage silent auction items, donations, and tracking
- Assist with assembling and organizing swag bags and event materials
- Collaborate with the Events and Marketing teams to support overall event preparation
Event Week & Day-Of (Onsite – Paid)
- Assist with check-in and on-site coordination
- Support vendor setup, breakdown, and on-site needs
- Help manage silent auction areas, swag distribution, and event flow support
- Assist with real-time problem-solving and logistics support
- Help ensure volunteers, vendors, and participants feel informed and supported
Qualifications
- Prior experience coordinating events or volunteers (required)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable leading volunteers and managing logistics onsite
- Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced event environment
- Reliable, self-directed, and detail-oriented
