SUMMARY OF WORK:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance and grounds at the North Dakota Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF). Duties include providing consistent maintenance services while adhering to safety practices and procedures. This is a "working" supervisor position that reports to the Physical Plant Director.
The Maintenance Supervisor will perform ground maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, weed management, and landscaping; building maintenance including carpentry, pluming, flooring, painting, HVAC, pump, and electrical repairs; operating and maintaining various equipment; maintaining irrigation systems; and managing staff and contractors as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. OTAG will not provide sponsorship.
To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or GED and five (5) years of semiskilled or skilled building, mechanical, groundskeeping, maintenance, and/or construction work involving the operation of maintenance equipment with experience in a supervisory or lead-worker capacity.
Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation are required.
Ability to lift up to 250 lb. in a team lift, possess a valid driver's license and may be required to work some weekends or additional hours, if needed.
The incumbent requires a high degree of written and/or verbal communication skills in dealing with contractors, and client. While interacting with the general public, must be empathetic.
Individuals will be required to have a pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain by a date determined by the Veteran Cemetery Director.
