Role Description
This is an ARMED applicant pool for a Security Officer located in Colorado Springs, CO. The Security Officer will be responsible for providing security for residential, commercial, and government properties. The day-to-day tasks include conducting proactive foot patrols, securing events, implementing access control, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to alarms and incidents, and maintaining detailed reports of activities and irregularities.
Minimum Qualifications
Be a US Citizen or naturalization card holder
Valid state ID/drivers license and reliable transportation
Ability to monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms and incidents
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
Strong report writing and communication skills
Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to client safety
Possession of a valid Guard Card (if applicable)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
High school diploma or equivalent
Duty Gear (Duty belt, handcuffs, firearm (If Armed), flashlight, OC spray)
Highly Qualified
Experience in conducting patrols, access control, investigations or making arrests.
Previous experience in security, military or law enforcement
Bachelors Degree
