Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including scones, muffins, brownies, cookies, and other desserts, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Prepare homemade lunch items like breakfast burritos, chicken & tuna salad, homemade soups, quiches & frittata.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following proper sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and safety standards
- Support high-volume production needs during busy periods while maintaining consistency in qualitySkills
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
- Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle catering or restaurant-related tasks confidently
- Experience working in the food industry or culinary environment with high-volume production experience preferred
