We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Laborer specializing in Earthwork and Utilities to join our dynamic team. Candidates should have atleast 1 year of experience in underground utility installation and excavation/grading. Duties
- Assist with site preparation by moving materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas
- Perform excavation tasks such as digging trenches for utilities and grading surfaces to specifications
- Support utility installation by laying pipes, conduits, and other underground infrastructure
- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision, including loaders and compactors
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and ensuring the work area remains organized and hazard-free
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to project plans and timelines
Experience
- Prior experience working in construction or earthwork environments preferred but not required; on-the-job training available for motivated candidates
- Ability to operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of safety standards related to excavation, utility work, and heavy machinery operation
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and procedures
- Familiarity with site safety protocols, including OSHA standards (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) preferred but not mandatory
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
