FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Physician Credentialing: Managing and executing the full lifecycle of provider credentialing and re-credentialing, ensuring complete compliance with federal, state, and internal standards.
- QME Onboarding & Filing: Formally guiding providers through the process of becoming Qualified Medical Evaluators (QMEs); preparing, reviewing, and filing all necessary state paperwork and applications accurately and on time.
- Location Management: Researching, coordinating, and registering new evaluation locations/offices for providers, ensuring all sites meet compliance and operational standards.
- Rosters & Renewals: Maintaining an airtight tracking system for provider licenses, QME statuses, and location certifications; proactively managing and executing timely renewals to avoid any lapse in service.
- Doctor Relations: Serving as the primary, trusted point of contact for doctors regarding their credentials, scheduling availabilities, and regulatory paperwork.
- Data Integrity: Inputting and maintaining flawless digital records of provider profiles, contracts, and critical documentation.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in medical credentialing, healthcare administration, or a dedicated QME practice management role.
- QME Expertise: Strong familiarity with the Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) guidelines and the specific paperwork required for QME status.
- Deadlines & Accuracy: A proven track record of meeting strict regulatory deadlines where high attention to detail and zero-error tolerance are required.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively with physicians and medical executives.
- Organizational Mastery: Highly skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously, tracking renewals, and staying ahead of schedule.
- Bilingual Capabilities: A huge plus for managing diverse communication streams.
Salary Range: $20.00 to $25.00/hour DOE (room for negotiation)
