Overview
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead HR initiatives for an independently owned and operated non-for-profit CCRC and foster a vibrant, inclusive workplace culture. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance with employment laws, and the development of innovative talent strategies. Our CCRC is located on a beautiful campus and includes skilled nursing and assisted living. Your leadership will drive employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and support the company’s growth through effective talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational design. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by overseeing sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation programs to attract top talent.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace conflicts, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict management initiatives.
- Oversee performance management systems to ensure consistent employee evaluation, feedback processes, and performance improvement plans.
- Administer benefits programs such as health insurance, workers' compensation, payroll processing (using systems Paycor).
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as OSHA and FMLA; manage contracts and legal documentation related to employment.
- Lead training & development initiatives to enhance employee skills; promote a culture of continuous learning through program management and process improvement efforts.
- Supervise HR staff and collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic planning initiatives that support organizational growth and change management efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management within a long-term-care organization which contains both skilled nursing and assisted living, with supervisory responsibilities; strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- In-depth knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and benefits administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in payroll platforms such as Paycor, etc.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage contracts, resolve conflicts, and present strategic plans to senior leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in organization design, process improvement, budgeting, and program management.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives while fostering a positive work environment; experience with HR sourcing tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; advanced certifications such as SHRM-SCP or PHR are preferred. Pay: $74,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
