Title: Scheduler
Reports to: STPH Management
Full–Time Position: Monday - Friday
Job Summary: The Scheduler provides support to the Production Team and Field Employees by performing a variety of administrative functions tied to Plumbing and Heating production calendar scheduling. The Scheduler operates under general supervision and performs job functions to ensure efficient scheduling, driving cost effectiveness and profitability for Silver Tree Plumbing and Heating. (STPH)
Primary duties and responsibilities:
· Coordinates work schedules for the residential plumbing and heating field employees
· Communicates the daily/weekly/monthly schedules and changes to the plumbing and heating field employees
· Works with plumbing and heating field production team to create and update schedules
· Answers phone calls, emails and texts messages from plumbing and heating team members and builders as it relates to the schedule and misc. questions
· Manages plumbing and heating production department schedule by maintaining group calendars STPH operating systems and retrieving data from builder databases- Supply Pro, Centra Vendorlink, Vendor Suite, Hyphen GM, Supply Pro GM
· Responsible for monitoring the STPH scheduling email box and phone
· Communicate with STPH office and field team members
· Provides historical scheduling reference by utilizing STPH current operating systems
· Communicate any jobsite concerns to proper STPH field supervisor
· Update schedule to reflect PTO Time and ensure employees are not scheduled on those days
· Decrease overall scheduling conflicts to increase profitability
· Communicate with field supervisors
· Correct scheduling conflicts/problems and/or changes on a project
· Other Duties as assigned based on needs to STPH
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. College or Tech School preferred
· Detail oriented, team player, ability to communicate in a professional manner both written and verbally.
· Knowledge of plumbing and heating industry and terminology desirable. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers
· Experience using scheduling/dispatcher software program
· Experience working across multiple teams on projects and production schedules
· Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Programs, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
· Ability work independently as well as part of a team
· Maintain confidential information
· Experience in scheduling 80 plus staff at multiple jobsites preferred
