Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant recharging and ammonia refrigeration handling.
- Weld or fabricate components as needed for equipment repair or system modifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs of all work performed for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in mechanical systems installation and maintenance.
- Service technician experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) environments.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of ductless and communicating systems and the operation of HVAC/R equipment in various settings.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing, refrigeration cycles, air conditioning systems, and general field service operations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred for transportation needs.
