Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact this school year as a School Psychologist supporting elementary students from kindergarten through fifth grade. In this contract position, you’ll become a vital member of the educational community, working onsite during standard school hours. The assignment begins July 30th and continues through June 2nd, providing a full academic year of meaningful work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure and credentials as a School Psychologist
- Experience supporting elementary-aged learners
- Strong knowledge of school-based psychological assessment, IEP evaluations, and intervention planning
- Ability to participate in problem-solving and Student Intervention Team processes
- Familiarity with crisis team protocols a plus
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Onsite availability required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide services in compliance with IEP guidelines
- Serve as an integral part of the building team, including Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams
- Facilitate problem-solving meetings and support educational staff in student-centered decision making
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Ensure documentation and reporting meet all district, state, and federal requirements
