Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations across our retail or service environment. This role is vital in driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining efficient store management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and the ability to motivate and develop team members. As a Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience while managing inventory, staff schedules, and financial processes to meet organizational goals.
Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, including sales management, customer service, and team coordination
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees with a focus on employee orientation and training & development
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to optimize product availability
- Manage payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and store budgeting to ensure financial accuracy
- Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost sales and enhance store visibility
- Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure adherence to POS (Point of Sale) procedures and retail math principles
- Foster a positive team environment through leadership, communication skills, coaching, and performance evaluations
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising experience in a fast-paced setting
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and team management
- Knowledge of retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, merchandising techniques, and inventory control
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities including purchasing, stock management, marketing initiatives, and shift supervision
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in store management operations
- Experience with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a customer-focused environment

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
