Create meaningful learning experiences for one curious 3-year-old.
We're looking for a creative, dependable, and energetic educator to provide personalized, play-based learning for one preschool-aged child in her home in Mapleton.
This is a unique opportunity to step away from the traditional classroom and focus on one child's growth through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, stories, crafts, music, movement, and imaginative play.

Schedule
- Tuesdays & Wednesdays
- Approximately 4 hours per day
- Flexible scheduling
- In-person in Mapleton, Utah
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging preschool activities
- Encourage early literacy, math, science, social-emotional learning, and practical life skills
- Read books, create crafts, and play games
- Foster creativity! (This is important!) And also foster confidence and independence
- Prepare simple weekly lesson ideas and activities
- Share a brief recap with the parent after each session
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience with preschool-aged children
- Is patient, dependable, and enthusiastic
- Enjoys singing, storytelling, art, and imaginative play
- Can create a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Has reliable transportation
- Communicates well with parents
- Is organized and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or experience in early childhood education (Or someone who is confident that they can do this for the first time)
- Familiarity with Montessori, Waldorf, or play-based learning
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required!)

Pay
Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications. Compensation will be discussed during the interview.
