Duties
- Perform a wide range of esthetic services including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and skin treatments using advanced techniques and equipment.
- Specialize in permanent makeup procedures such as lip blush, eyeliner pigment application, microblading, and tattooing to enhance clients’ features with precision and artistry.
- Conduct aesthetic treatments like laser therapy, skin resurfacing, and other innovative procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and post-treatment care to ensure optimal results.
- Maintain meticulous medical records and client histories using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow strict sanitation, infection control, and tattoo/piercing safety regulations to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and client safety.
- Promote retail sales of skincare products and aesthetic tools by understanding client needs and providing expert advice.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with certification in cosmetology or related fields.
- Proven experience in performing lip blush, tattooing, permanent makeup, microblading, eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, and other esthetic treatments.
- Strong knowledge of color theory, anatomy relevant to skin health, infection control practices, and tattoo/piercing safety regulations.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate and build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for managing medical records efficiently.
- Ability to perform esthetic laser treatments and hair threading with precision.
- Knowledge of makeup application techniques for special occasions or daily wear.
- A proactive attitude towards sales and customer service that enhances the overall client experience.
