Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures with precision and efficiency, utilizing modern dental technology and techniques.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop tailored treatment plans that meet individual needs.
- Utilize dental imaging tools such as medical imaging devices to diagnose complex cases accurately.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
- Collaborate closely with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Apply aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure infection control and patient safety.
- Educate patients on endodontic procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive practices to promote long-term oral health.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization in endodontics.
- Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, dental extractions, and other endodontic treatments.
- Proficiency with dental terminology, medical terminology, and dental fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, medical imaging technology, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
- Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry or general dentistry is a plus.
