Job Overview
Our family fitness Swim and Tennis Club is interested in hiring a part-time Kids Club Attendants to supervise and play with our members children while their parents remain on site. We are seeking an experienced, caring professional who truly enjoys spending time with kids.
The successful applicant will be responsible for engaging them with fun and safe activities. Punctuality, attention to detail required, multitasking skills, and reporting any safety hazards is a must.
Must be available to work on Sundays from 8:30am-1pm and Wed/Thur. 3:30pm-8:00pm
other weekly and weekend shifts may become available on occasion during the hours of 8:30am-1:30pm
Kids Club attendants responsibilities and duties:
- Alert the parents immediately if there are any issues or problems
- Engage children with fun activities, such as games, puzzles or play
- Monitor accuracy of member sign in and out times, as well as record times on logs.
- Organizing toys, light cleaning up of toys and room.
- Punctuality a must, attention to detail required, multitasking skills, and reporting any safety hazards.
qualifications and skills
- Must be 18+ years of age or older
- Basic math skills needed
- 1+ years’ experience with children
- Light record keeping of children check in
- First Aid and CPR certifications required. We will provide a CPR Class on site every 2 years. Maintaining current CPR/AED and first aid certification is required for this position.
- Must be able to pass Trustline/Social Services and Fingerprint screening to work with children.
