Join our team as a CDL A Experienced Manual Driver – Local, and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic and hands-on role, you will operate manual transmission tractor-trailers to shuttle truck and trailers between our Plantersville and Spring Cypress yards as well as haul and deliver bellydump and chip trailers loads locally. Your expertise in driving various types of trailers is highly perferred. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your driving skills, and to be intergral part of our internal team.
Duties
- Safely operate manual transmission tractor-trailers across local delivery routes, ensuring effiecient and safe performance.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand tools when necessary.
- Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or specialized freight with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding load status, route updates, or any issues encountered during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with proven experience operating manual transmission trucks in a commercial setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in driving various truck types including bellydump, dump trucks, and daycabs.
- Proficiency in operating auxiliary equipment such as forklifts or other load-handling machinery is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for commercial trucking operations.
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs promptly.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
