Position Overview
We are seeking a caring, dependable Infant Teacher to join our team in a full-time capacity.
Our infant teachers create a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, loved, and supported during their earliest stages of development. Through responsive caregiving, intentional interactions, and strong partnerships with families, you'll help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and healthy development.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with children and families while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood care.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsive Caregiving
- Provide attentive, individualized care for infants throughout the day.
- Follow each child's feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedule while maintaining accuratedaily documentation.
- Build secure, trusting relationships through consistent, responsive interactions.
- Comfort, soothe, and support children with patience and compassion.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy classroom environment.
Learning & Development
- Engage infants through play, conversation, music, movement, sensory exploration, and age-appropriate activities.
- Support each child's physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and language development.
- Observe developmental milestones and communicate children's progress with familiesand team members.
- Encourage curiosity and exploration through meaningful daily interactions.
Family Partnership
- Build positive, trusting relationships with families.
- Communicate openly about each child's day, routines, and developmental progress.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and classroom communication.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with fellow teachers to provide consistent, high-quality care.
- Follow all DHS licensing and NAEYC requirements and Growing Kidz policies.
- Maintain an organized, welcoming classroom.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
- CDA (Child Development Associate), Master Teacher certification, or equivalent early childhood education training preferred.
- Experience working with infants or young children preferred.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and responsive caregiving is a plus.
- Must meet Oklahoma DHS licensing requirements.
- Applicant must pass background check prior to being hired.

Schedule
- Full-time position (hours may vary based on Center needs)
- Center operating hours are Monday – Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
