Role Description
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Corona, New York.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience while helping maintain efficient daily office operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Check patients in and out and verify demographic information.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Assist patients with general questions regarding office procedures.
- Process patient intake forms and maintain accurate records.
- Collect co-pays and payments as directed.
- Assist with basic insurance inquiries and direct billing questions to the appropriate team member.
- Perform clerical duties, including filing, scanning, data entry, and document management.
- Support the clinical team and contribute to smooth daily office operations.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Previous dental, medical, or healthcare front desk experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
