Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Driver with Tank Endorsement to operate septic trucks efficiently and safely. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting septic waste to designated disposal sites, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Your expertise in operating various heavy-duty trucks and your mechanical knowledge will be essential in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities
- Safely operate septic trucks equipped with tank endorsements.
- Load and unload waste materials accurately using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Drive heavy-duty vehicles adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to equipment setup, waste collection, and disposal processes.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, pickups, maintenance checks, and route logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tank Endorsement required.
- Proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbeds.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems for troubleshooting minor issues.
- Experience in delivery driving with a focus on waste management or septic services preferred.
- Ability to perform manual lifting of heavy loads safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and hazardous waste handling.
- Excellent driving record with a commitment to safe driving practices.
