Kids 'R' Kids of Spring Central is seeking an experienced Educational Program Director with expertise in TRS, accredition, and curriculum implementation. This role is 75% in-classroom and includes training and curriculum leadership to ensure a high-quality learning experience. The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, instructional best practices, and assessment strategies while promoting a rigorous, student-centered learning environment.
Purpose of the Role:
- Provide professional leadership in curriculum development and implementation that is aligned with the Kids 'R' Kids curriculum, TRS, and Cognia.
- Model and promote best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Establish, evaluate, and enhance academic standards for Math, English, and Science.
- Lead School curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Stay current with the latest educational research, initiatives, and pedagogy.
- Oversee student progress tracking systems to drive data-informed instruction.
- Support the Director in fostering a vibrant, high-achieving learning environment.
General Responsibilities:

Curriculum Leadership & Instructional Support:
- Lead and support the implementation of Kids 'R' Kids curriculum standards across all age levels.
- Ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment between age levels and subject areas.
- Guide teachers in differentiated instruction, student-centered learning, and inquiry-based approaches.
- Assist in developing standards-based, cross-disciplinary instructional strategies.
- Collaborate with the Director to analyze student performance data and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure effective curriculum mapping, pacing guides, and instructional resources are in place.
- Help with lesson plan creation, revision, and implementation.
Assessment & Student Achievement Tracking:
- Oversee Kids 'R' Kids formative & summative assessments.
- Develop a systematic approach to data analysis to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
- Work with teachers to create authentic assessments, performance-based tasks, and evaluations.
- Monitor student progress, set academic targets, and support intervention strategies.
- Ensure smooth transitions for students between classrooms.
Professional Development & Teacher Mentorship:
- Lead staff workshops, training, and curriculum-focused professional development.
- Mentor and support new and experienced teachers in best instructional practices.
- Promote the use of technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning.
- Foster collaboration among teachers to share best practices and instructional approaches.
- Weekly Staff Observations
- Coordinate and implement monthly and annual staff training
Parent & Community Engagement:
- Coordinate and present parent curriculum meetings and workshops.
- Communicate curriculum updates, student progress expectations, and academic initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with families, faculty, and community stakeholders to support student success.
- Facilitate quarterly parent/teacher conferences.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist with school accreditation and compliance requirements.
- Support the Director in curriculum-related administrative tasks.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Director as needed.
Teaching & Leadership Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
- Deep understanding of TRS and curriculum implementation.
- Proven ability to lead curriculum initiatives, instructional coaching, and data-driven instruction.
- Experience designing curriculum maps, unit plans, and inquiry-based learning experiences.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to lead assessment planning and student progress monitoring.
- Proficiency in educational technology, digital tools, and learning management systems.
- Passionate about holistic education and fostering a growth mindset in students.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
