Comfort Inn & Suites is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to provide a safe and efficient environment for all.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Execute hotel painting projects as required, maintaining aesthetic standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts used.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to use an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Leadership skills with experience supervising teams or projects is a plus.
