Seeking a kind, creative and reliable person to serve as a direct support professional on weekends, assisting a fun, bright and lovely young woman with some acute physical challenges
Candidate would support this young lady with all her daily physical needs, such as assisting her with eating, as well as hygiene.
The ideal candidate will be fun and creative and support her in social settings, helping her experience music and art in her community. The ideal candidate should have some experience, but it is not a requirement.
Wages/Schedule:
- Pay Range: $23.00 per hour to start
- Expected hours: up to 10 hours per weekend based on availability of SSP
- Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
- Participate in all required training and meetings.
- Fill out and submit daily service notes and timekeeping documents.
- Communicate promptly and in advance regarding all scheduling concerns.
- Collaborative communication with the family.
Other desired qualifications include:
- Direct experience with individuals with acute physical challenges.
- Must have driver's license
- Must have access to reliable transportation, meet all state minimum safety, registration, and insurance requirements.
- Provide references upon request.
