Responsibilities
- Assist in planning menus that meet nutritional guidelines and accommodate dietary needs
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and safety standards
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Support catering events by preparing food and setting up serving areas
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and high-quality food presentation
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety regulations
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques are desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior experience with catering or serving is a plus but not required
