Position Overview:
- Schedule: Full-Time (part-time candidates may be considered based on district needs)
- Setting: On-site only
- Location: Taylorsville, North Carolina 28681
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Start Date: Flexible based on district needs
Caseload & Role Focus:
- Caseload details shared during the interview process
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special education planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Develop recommendations and support plans for students
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Provide consultation regarding interventions, accommodations, and behavioral supports
- Maintain compliant documentation and reports
Support & Work Environment:
- Collaborative district team with ongoing support from administration and special education staff

Requirements:
- Active North Carolina School Psychologist licensure/certification or ability to obtain
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
