RAM Specialty Fabrications is a growing ISO 9001:2015 certified contract manufacturer specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly. We serve customers in industries including medical, defense, industrial equipment, and commercial manufacturing.
We are seeking a Quality Inspector who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working closely with production to ensure our customers receive high-quality products every time.

Responsibilities
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Inspect fabricated, machined, and welded components using precision measuring equipment.
- Verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.
- Identify nonconforming material and work with production to resolve issues quickly.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Help maintain compliance with our ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Work with production personnel to improve quality and prevent defects before shipment.
Qualifications
- Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, machining, or welding is a plus.
- Experience interpreting GD&T is preferred but not required.
