Qualifications
- Must be Lead Teacher qualified for infants through the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) Child Care Licensing.
- Meet Colorado Infant Nursery Supervisor/Lead Teacher qualifications through one of the approved education and experience pathways.
- Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before working independently).
- Complete all required Colorado pre-service and annual training requirements.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, professional, and passionate about early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants.
- Support each child's physical, emotional, and developmental growth.
- Follow daily schedules for feeding, diapering, naps, and learning activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets licensing standards.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
