Tech-Savvy Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Office Assistant

Monday–Thursday, 8:30 am–3:00 pm; Friday, 8:30 am–12:00 pm. We're flexible on start and stop times for the right candidate.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, tech-savvy person to become an integral part of our team — someone looking for a long-term home where they can grow with the company. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients while also helping us grow and manage our practice.
Whether you have experience as a medical assistant or are looking to start your healthcare career, we'd love to meet you. We are willing to train the right person, including phlebotomy if needed.
Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Welcome and check in patients with a friendly, professional attitude
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist physician with procedures
- Perform phlebotomy (we will train the right candidate if you are not already certified)
- Help patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit
Front Office & Administration
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient communications
- Respond to emails, texts, and patient messages promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical record (EMR)
- Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Stock and order supplies
Technology & Marketing
- Help manage our Facebook and Instagram accounts
- Create graphics, flyers, and educational content using Canva
- Assist with website updates and online communications
- Utilize Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
- Learn and effectively use healthcare software and technology platforms
- Help identify new ways to improve office efficiency through technology
We can teach you how to do these things — you don't need to already know how, but you need to be a tech-savvy person who can learn and take over these functions readily.

Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience
- Phlebotomy experience (or willingness to learn)
- Medical office or customer service experience
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Canva, Google Workspace, email management, or EMR systems

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $19–24/hr, depending on experience
- Paid time off, prorated for part-time hours (e.g., 1–2 weeks in year one, increasing with tenure)
- Health insurance is not offered with this position
- Start date: as soon as we find the right fit — we're taking our time in this search and there's no rush
