TCC Management owns and operates 80 manufactured housing communities (mobile home parks) across the United States. We have grown from 20 lots in October 2017 to 4,000 units today. We are seeking a talented Maintenance Tech to handle maintenance of 4 mobile home parks in the Philadelphia MSA (approximately 240 units).
Location:
The role is primarily "in the field" and you will be expected to maintained multiple properties when work is required at those locations.

Responsibilities:
The overarching role of the Maintenance Tech is to create outstanding, well-run manufactured housing communities. How?
- Communication: You will have regular daily calls with the property manager to review the status of maintenance projects or capital projects. This will be through text, email, and phone calls.
- Community Infrastructure: While the maintenance people at mobile home parks can handle the day-to-day problems of basic water leak repair and minor sewer clogs, there some tasks where you will need to find a specialist (and fast!). You will meet contractors on site to explain problems and oversee the work being done. In addition, there are sometimes emergencies (water main breaks; major sewer clogs, etc.) and you will have to jump in to get them resolved quickly.
- Community Appearances: You will maintain the quality of the community -- ensuring trash is picked up; enforcing community rules and regulations (clean yards, no large dogs, etc.) In addition, you will drive events in order to promote community and pride of ownership, such as yard of the month competitions.
- Collections: You will coordinate utility meter reading in order to generate utility bills. You will get your meter reads to community manager to generate monthly statements and late notice.
- Home Refurbs and Sales: You will manage the the refurbishment of vacant park owned homes. You will work hand and hand with community manager to get home finished and then on the market to sell.
- Snow Removal and Landscaping: You will be responsible for snow removal and lawn care at all properties in the portfolio.
- Travel: You will be required to travel to properties within our geographical area to handle maintenance on properties.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Mobile home park experience is not required, although it is a plus. If you've done handyman work and driven results within any industry, we encourage you to apply.
- You must be energetic and have a growth mindset. When things go wrong, your reaction should be, "How can I do things differently next time to prevent this?," rather than "Whose fault is this?"
