Bartender – Belga Café | Washington, DC
Belga Café is a neighborhood Belgian-inspired restaurant and bar located on Capitol Hill. We are seeking a hospitality-driven Bartender who enjoys building relationships with guests, working as part of a close-knit team, and growing their knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and Belgian beer.
At Belga Café, we operate as a small, collaborative team. Our bartenders and servers share responsibilities and participate in a tip pool, creating a true house team environment where everyone contributes to the guest experience. We are looking for individuals who take pride in hospitality, enjoy connecting with regular guests, and want to grow within our organization.

Experience
Previous bartending experience is preferred; however, we are also interested in experienced servers who are eager to transition behind the bar. We believe in promoting from within and are willing to train motivated hospitality professionals who want to expand their skills and grow into a bartending role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Deliver exceptional guest service and create memorable experiences
- Learn and maintain knowledge of our Belgian beer, wine, and cocktail programs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and daily operational duties
- Work closely with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
