Part-Time Assistant – Interior Design & Online Retail
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Part-Time Assistant to support a growing interior design business and online retail shop. This is a flexible, part-time position that offers a variety of responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management and organization.
- Update and maintain product listings and content on the company website.
- Help process customer orders, including packing, shipping, and tracking.
- Support client communications and help maintain positive client relationships.
- Assist with logistics, including transporting merchandise, décor, and other goods to clients or project sites as needed.
- Accompany the interior decorator to client appointments, installations, and project sites when needed.
- Provide general administrative and organizational support to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred, as occasional local travel to client sites may be required.
- Ability to lift and move décor items and boxes as needed.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with CAD software or other interior design programs.
- Background or interest in interior design, home décor, e-commerce, or retail.
