We are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience scheduling court deadlines and e-filing are preferred.
- High-level ability to multitask, self-prioritize, and work with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, and the courts.
- Professional writing skills (emails, form letters, etc.).
- Responds well under pressure.
- Impeccable communication skills (Phone and interpersonal).
- Goal-oriented and a team player.
- Has experience with office technology platforms such as:
- --- Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) (Mandatory)
- --- Microsoft Teams (Preferred)
- --- Adobe (Mandatory)
- --- Clio/Comparable Law Specific Calendaring Tools (Entry Level Okay)
- --- Digital Court Filing (Preferred)
Duties Typically Include:
- Scheduling court deadlines.
- Scheduling large conference meetings.
- Answer the phones.
- Emailing and making phone calls.
- Assisting client onboarding and setup.
- Working directly with clients, staff, and attorneys.
- Managing court deadlines in conjunction with the legal counsel.
- Managing 2-4 firm calendars.
- Assisting with case and deadline management.
- Assisting attorney with evidence binders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
