Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while handling cash and card payments with accuracy.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food handling stations to ensure food safety compliance.
- Assist with food prep tasks like bussing tables, restocking supplies, and managing food storage to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service.
- Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and health regulations to uphold the integrity of the food industry standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly through tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous but training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
