Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Apparel Designer to create custom apparel graphics, branding concepts, and production-ready artwork for a variety of clients and markets. The ideal candidate has a strong design background, excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and a solid understanding of the decorated apparel industry, including screen printing, embroidery, and heat-applied graphics.
Responsibilities
* Create custom apparel designs, graphics, and merchandise concepts for clients and internal brands.
* Develop creative artwork for t-shirts, hoodies, uniforms, promotional products, and other apparel items.
* Prepare clean, production-ready vector artwork and print files.
* Create customer mockups, presentations, and art approvals.
* Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to develop designs that meet client needs and brand standards.
* Revise artwork based on customer feedback and production requirements.
* Maintain organized design files and artwork archives.
* Stay current on apparel trends, decoration techniques, and design best practices.
* Ensure artwork is accurate, visually appealing, and suitable for the intended decoration method.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of graphic design or apparel design experience.
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
* Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and branding.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Portfolio showcasing apparel, branding, or graphic design work.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in the decorated apparel industry.
* Knowledge of screen printing, embroidery, DTF printing, heat transfers, and promotional products.
* Understanding of garment decoration limitations and production requirements.
* Experience creating artwork for apparel production and merchandising.
* Familiarity with apparel sourcing, garment brands, and industry trends.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
