Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician (minimum 2 years experience) to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, gear, and light fixtures in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring tasks on construction sites or existing facilities.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols and electrical standards.
- Collaborate with other trades to coordinate installation activities effectively.
- Follow all safety procedures related to construction site work and electrical systems to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes such as NEC regulations for safe electrical practices.
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems along with relevant safety standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction drawings, and technical manuals accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and hazard prevention.
- Strong understanding of NEC regulations governing electrical installations in various environments.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring precise execution.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
