Now Hiring: Full-Time Dental Hygiene Assistant
We are seeking a full-time Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our friendly, patient-focused dental practice. If you're dependable, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dental hygienist during patient care
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take high-quality dental X-rays
- Perform intraoral scans
- Prepare patients for hygiene appointments
- Update and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
- Support the clinical team with daily operations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Dental assisting experience required
- Proficient in taking dental X-rays
- Experience with intraoral scanning technology
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Current certifications/licenses as required by state regulations
