Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their feline companions with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ocassionally assist veterinarians with examinations and treatments as needed.
- Handle phone inquiries and route them to the appropriate staff member.
- Process payments and manage client accounts efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and exam rooms.
- Provide information to clients as indicated by technicians and doctors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards animals and their owners.
- Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record-keeping helpful.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in veterinary assistance is a plus.
