Hayes Barton Place, Raleigh's premier Life Plan Community, is seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help create meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of our residents through engaging programs, social events, educational opportunities, volunteer activities, and community connections.

What You'll Do
As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of a dynamic calendar of programs and events designed to enhance the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with planning and coordinating resident programs, events, and special activities
- Facilitate and lead recreational, educational, and social programs
- Welcome and orient new residents to the community
- Manage program registrations and reservations
- Assist residents with event sign-ups and provide guidance on participation procedures
- Promote upcoming events to encourage resident engagement
- Assist with creating and maintaining the community events calendar
- Support the development of content for the monthly resident newsletter
- Accompany residents on outings and special events as needed
- Help create a vibrant, engaging, and inclusive community environment
- Perform other duties in support of the Life Enrichment Director
What We're Looking For Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with older adults and their families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license required
- Comfortable driving community vehicles and/or accompanying residents on outings
Schedule
- Primarily Monday-Friday schedule
- Occasional evenings, weekends, and special events as needed
- Flexible schedule based on programming needs
