**About the Role:**
* Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including entrees, sides, and desserts, for our residents
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations
* Ensure efficient food preparation and presentation, ensuring that meals are served hot and look appealing
* Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special meals for residents with dietary restrictions or preferences
* Maintain accurate records of food inventory, usage, and waste
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
**Responsibilities:**
* **Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menus, and dietary restrictions
* **Kitchen Management**: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations
* **Inventory Management**: Manage food inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste
* **Teamwork**: Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special meals, and assist with food service during peak periods
* **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and colleagues
**Requirements:**
